You will have noticed we decided to start a little later in April this year, since we were canceled (“snowed out”) the last two years in early April.
We are thinking about one or two preseason unofficial meet and greet events. Broad Run could be a venue for one of these. It would be a pay your own way thing, no league points. Or if we set any competition up it will be casual.
If the weather is fair in early April, we hope to send out an invite to the league, trying to get a group together to play somewhere locally. It would be good to see the returners, and would be an opportunity for some new players to meet us.
If you haven’t used group golfer, it works pretty well but there are restrictions. Worst case is you don’t get to the course before the deadline. In that case you can still apply the face value of the coupon to normal rack rates. These deals can sell out, too, so “act fast.”
