OK people after some delay here are scoring results for COBBS … Scott Carpenter makes a second visit to the winners circle at Cobbs Creek Firecracker Classic with a low net -4 par! Jack Jafolla (always in the mix it seems lately) and Bob Holt share second at -3. Notable front nines by Bob (37 gross) and Frank Dutko (42 gross) but they didn’t quite finish the job. I didn’t hear any word about Cobbs bunkers or conditions: hope all enjoyed the true nature of playing Golf Tour of Greater Philadelphia on a City Course. We will be voting for Burholme, Juniata, Walnut Lane or the Lakes for next year’s City venue.
